Looking through the crowd, the silent
voices of the Children kept beckoning me to get their views about the topic at
hand- a vote bought is a service denied. Reject vote buying now.
Atwine Martha a13 year old girl and a
student of Bugongi SS said that if she and her
parents received handouts (money, soap, and sugar) from politicians she would
advise them to use them but vote an able candidate after listening to detailed
manifesto.
This
is because of her experience when her father came back home during the last
elections bragging about the money he had received from the campaigns of a certain candidate whom she doesn’t
remember because she was so young and yet she heard from the community members
that leaders are not delivering promised services like good roads, better
school facilities, better health facilities.
I believe these children who attended
the road side rally of this anti-corruption caravan will have a better future
if their parents vote able candidates rather than sell their democratic rights
and integrity cheaply to greedy politicians.
It truly is very good which we have actually released so intriguing post.I am grateful that we discovered ones web page. I'm looking forward to study different, intriguing content.
